How to rescue after party skin with a sheet mask

  • 05 Feb 2019

Did anyone tell you that sheet masks could just be used before an occasion? Well, here's a perspective.

If you're someone who does not wear a lot of makeup, doing a full face for even two days in a row, can make your skin feel irritated. With opting for doing a full face makeup routine daily comes the responsibility of taking it off, thoroughly yet gently. Recommended reading 'double cleansing'. There could be many a reason that could have got your skin irritated or inflamed after any season of celebration, like, improper cleansing, dehydration or even post-party blues. Here is a quick fix to rescue your after-party skin.

Step 1: Place your sheet mask in the fridge for 30 mins.

Step 2: Double cleanse. Go in with our Shangpree cleansing duo, the S-Energy Cleansing Gel followed by the S-Energy Foam Cleanser.

Step 3: Gently exfoliate. We especially recommend this step for this ritual, to get rid of any buildup that may have occurred from residual makeup. Opt for a gentle exfoliator like the Non-Stimulus Face Polisher from Be the Skin, because, we don't want to further irritate the skin by using a harsh exfoliant. Gently eliminate dead skin cells and dirt stuck in the pores to make way for the mask hydration to seep in.

Use water that is slightly warm(not too much) to rinse off. This will soften skin and enable better absorption of the mask essences.

Step 4: Follow with a toner. Need help to find the right one for your skin type? Write us on hello@carenclass.com!

Step 5: Next, go in with your sheet mask. We recommend the Cremorlab Witch Hazel Pore Control Mask for this routine. Drenched in calming ingredients, this will deliver anti-inflammatories into your skin and take it from dull and dehydrated to smooth and plump. The cooling effect from the refrigerator will further soothe skin.

Finally, tap the excess liquid in the pouch on your face, neck and back of the hands.

This is our favourite ritual to restore tired skin and uplift the after party skin stress. We recommend you give this a try and let us know your feedback, anytime on hello@carenclass.com.
